Use these Mix and Match cards to play Memory, Go Fish, or other matching games!  There are two pages to use.  One with fractions and one without, geared for every stage of learner.

Differentiation Activity

Students will take turns drawing a card and using Support 34 to show the comparison using a tape diagram.  The first row on the support page is for individual numbers.  The rest of the rows are for showing the comparison.  Students will then write the matching multiplication sentence on a white board or notebook.  For continued practice, students can roll a dice to generate numbers for the comparisons.

Differentiation Activity

Student 1 will place some counters into a bag/cup/pile.  Student 2 will draw a card and place the correct amount according to the card in the other bag/cup/pile.  The students will then write on notebook paper or a white board the comparison sentence and compare.

Differentiation Activity

Student 1 will write a multiplication fact on a white board.  Student 2 will then write the matching division facts that correspond with those multiplication facts.  Students can also do this with the multiplication/division fact families on index cards and use them for mix-and-match games such as memory.
